This is a rare and unique Trombone. It does not play like a usual valve Trombone, but rather each valve is used independently. In other words, only one valve is pressed at a time and each valve is like a "position" on a slide trombone. Since I don't play slide Trombone I can't play a tune on it, but it does seem to play well. The valves and slides all move freely and are in good working order. There are a few dings and dents, but nothing major.
As I now say with all of the vintage instruments that I sell, this is a vintage instrument so don't expect it to play like a modern professional model instrument. I will only offer a refund if I have grossly misrepresented this instrument in my discription. If you have questions, please ask them.
