This is a Cornet or Cornopean "Coffin" case from the mid to late 1800's. One hinge is broken (see photos). The latches work as intended, but the lock which keeps the lid shut does not work. the wook case is still in sound condition. Inside dimensions 12 1/2" wide x 4 3/4" deep at the bellend and 2 3/4" deep at the other end x about 7 1/2" tall. PRICE $30 + Shipping & Insurance.
